Where to paste the Sectira tag on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and more.
Your tag
Every website has its own tag. The exact tag, with your site ID filled in, is on the Setup & install page for your website. It looks like this:
<script defer src="https://app.sectira.com/t.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID"></script>The steps below use YOUR_SITE_ID as a placeholder. Copy your real tag from the Setup & install page.
WordPress
About 3 minutes. The ready-made plugin is on your Setup & install page.
- Download the Sectira plugin. It already contains your site's ID, so there's nothing to set up inside WordPress.
- Sign in to your WordPress dashboard. It's usually your website's address followed by /wp-admin.
- In the menu on the left, go to: Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin
- Click Choose File, pick the sectira zip file you just downloaded, then click Install Now.
- When it finishes, click Activate Plugin. Sectira now loads on every page of your site.
Visits from logged-in WordPress admins aren't counted, so test from a private window. On WordPress.com, uploading plugins needs the Business plan or higher.

- In the menu on the left, go to: Sales channels › Online Store › Themes

- Find the line that says </head> (press Ctrl+F, or Cmd+F on a Mac, and type </head>). Paste your tag on a new line just above it.

<Script src="https://app.sectira.com/t.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" strategy="afterInteractive" /> - Save, then commit and deploy the way you normally do (for example, git push to Vercel). Page changes inside the app are tracked automatically.

- Find the line that says </head> (press Ctrl+F, or Cmd+F on a Mac, and type </head>). Paste your tag on a new line just above it.
- Save the file, and upload it again if you edited a copy on your computer. Repeat for each page that doesn't share the header.
