Troubleshooting
Visits are not showing up
Last updated: October 23, 2026
A checklist for when your reports stay empty after you install the tag.
Check the Setup & install page
Open your website's Setup & install page. It shows whether a visit has been received yet, and the exact tag for your website.
Check the tag
- The tag is inside the
<head>of every page, not only the home page. - The tag is the one from your Setup & install page, with your site ID.
- Your changes are published. Many builders need you to click Publish after editing code.
Test the right way
Visit your website from a private window. With the WordPress plugin, visits from logged-in WordPress editors aren't counted, so a visit while you are signed in to WordPress won't show up.
Ad blockers
An ad blocker in your own browser can stop the tag. Try another browser, or connect your domain on the Setup & install page to use a first-party subdomain, which ad blockers drop less often.
Caching
If you use a caching plugin or a CDN, your visitors may still get an old copy of your pages without the tag. Clear or purge the cache, then test again.
